Polaroid

The Polaroid series is a new collection that, much like the Misfits, will continue to emerge as a recurring theme throughout my work. For convenience, I refer to them as the Polaroids due to their format and proportions, which are identical to those of a Polaroid. Additionally, the colors and lighting evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing within me. I find it fascinating to witness how my subjects gradually materialize almost out of thin air. Nothing becomes something, and I have no control over it. That feeling is what I paint in these series. That's the essence.
